Cleaning my kitchen floor grout can feel like such a chore but it really does look so good once done. It really freshens my kitchen up and I always forget how white it used to be! After testing a few products I have found one which I think works wonders- a vinegar based cleaning spray. My chosen favourite is the Stardrops White Vinegar Spray but you could also make your own. (3 parts water, 1 part vinegar, 2 tsp lemon juice).
Once ready with your vinegar cleaning product, follow these steps below:
- Pre treat your flooring grout with your chosen white vinegar solution- spray on all grouting and leave for 15 minutes to soak.
- Now time to scrub or steam your grouting. I find steaming so much easier as it literally lifts the dirt away, but if you don’t have one handy, a small cleaning brush or tooth brush with some elbow grease will do the trick.
- Now time to mop any excess product and dirt away.
- Leave to dry! It may take a while for you to see your results but trust me it will be worth the wait. Take a look at my results below…
